I LOVE conferences and retreats! I always have!
“Many of us have heard gifted speakers and teachers throughout our lives. Likewise, I too, have been fortunate to have had wonderful teachers and mentors. That said, few of them have been able to speak Biblical truths in the way that Anne does. Her knowledge of the scriptures and the depth of her study coupled with personal anecdotes make everyday application much easier and relevant. Not only is she a skillful teacher, she has an ability to have you laughing hysterically one minute and very serious and introspective the next. Her heart for bringing practical Biblical truths to women in all stages of life is truly a gift.”
Dr Beverly Ann Hall * Educational Consultant * Simpsonville, SC

“Anne Farnum spoke at a retreat I attended this past fall. At the time, I was exhausted and numb due to a very serious family situation, and I was in no mood to be preached at. Thankfully, that’s not what God had in store for me that weekend. Anne very kindly and compassionately presented the truth of God in her talks to us about “Fear Not”. Even in my rough mental and emotional state, I found her tone to be very empathetic, practical, and conversational, as well as her slides were easy to understand. While my family situation is still ongoing, God used Anne’s talk that weekend as an anchor point to reassure me that even in the most dark, desolate, and uncertain places in our lives, God loves us enough to sit beside us, to hold us and to gently whisper “Fear not my child for I am with you even here. I see your tears, and I care about your pain.”” S.C. Knoxville, TN
Maybe it is because I’ve seen God move powerfully in my own life through these sorts of gatherings.
If our schedules allow, I would love to participate in your retreat or conference. You can expect a well-prepared, Bible-centered, Holy Spirit-driven teaching time.

From Bible-teaching sessions addressed to hundreds of women to practical equipping breakouts to small gatherings of your church Bible study, I love to teach! I am excited to share all that I have learned and written about in my book. I can also help women learn how to dive into the Bible for themselves.

“What would be your description of a skilled teacher? For me, it is someone who knows and loves their subject; and inspires others too as well. This description depicts my friend Anne! She is passionate about loving the Lord and knowing His Word. And if you get the chance to hear Anne teach, you will be inspired to know and love him too.”

Anne has a beautiful way of taking less familiar Scriptures to point out deep spiritual truth. She draws from them obvious and important truth we’ve not seen before, a truth that can change the way we think and act. She understands the deep fears and anxieties that hamper a woman’s spiritual growth. You will be charmed as Anne shows you how sweetly God helped her discover her own hidden baggage, to bring it into the light of God’s Word, and understand it’s destructiveness. Her every premise is built on the honest, healing truth of Scripture. ELIZABETH HANDFORD, AUTHOR, GREENVILLE SC
I have several retreat themes I would love to share with your group.

Get Your Freedom Back!!
So often, we, as Christian women, take our faith and our emotional baggage (on wheels) and simultaneously drag them along as we endeavor to walk as Jesus would. As believers in Jesus, we know we should be walking in freedom, but so often, we find ourselves bound up by the hurts and struggles of life. How do we find freedom from all this baggage? How can we live out the abundant life Christ freely offers? Thankfully for us, God’s word gives ample instruction concerning this problem. Join Bible teacher and author Anne Farnum as she shares her journey to freedom from baggage. Let’s explore God’s word to understand His plan for our baggage release together. “It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1
The Psalm 23 Journey

Living abundantly” is one of the most sought-after yet seemingly mysterious and elusive benefits of knowing Jesus. We often hear people in the church say, “John 10:10- is the abundant life verse”. But what exactly is abundant living? What does an abundant life look like? And how in the world do we attain this lavishly abundant life promised to us as Christ-followers? One of the most well-known and recognizable Scriptures today gives us the answer to this question. Psalm 23 is one of the “Shepherd’s Psalms” written by David. He was a man who indisputably knew all about shepherding and sheep, and he understood abundant living. Most of us have Psalm 23 memorized and have repeated it time and time again when a loved one is dying or has passed away. But did you know that Psalm 23 isn’t about bringing peace as a loved one leaves this earth? This Psalm, although used at funerals, is actually about life, not only life but the lavishly abundant life that the Good Shepherd offers us. As we study Psalm 23, we will see how God wants to transform our lives into a life that “leans into” Him and, as a result of that learning, demonstrates God’s gift of lavishly abundant living.

Let’s talk! Maybe you have a theme already in mind. I would also be glad to dive into and speak on your subject.
“Over the past ten years, I have participated in various Bible studies Anne has taught. Her love for Scripture is clear, and it is obvious she spends a great deal of time preparing. I have been engaged and challenged through her teaching-a gift
God has most certainly given her. “
